Wynn Perry

Our next rider is surely set for a big future, fearlessly charging her home break in a style reminiscent of Jamie O'Brian!

\Already with a couple of sponsors under her belt it can only be a matter of time before she starts backing that up with some solid contest results when they finally get moving again.

The country has a solid history of some of the best contest bodyboarding the world has seen not to mention the raw talent and waves that bless the shores.

What a Place to be able to call home.........

"Hi my name is Wynn Perry, I am 9 years old and I am from Oahu, Hawaii. I still live here in Hawaii in Kaneohe on a 3 acre property that contains animals and good times.

I started body boarding 3 years ago with my dad on small waves, my first board was a t&c surf body board that was around 34 inches.

I got into bodyboarding because whenever we would go to the beach I would play on the sand while my 2 brothers and dad would be catching barrels and having fun, so one day I decided to join them.

My childhood hero is Bethany Hamilton because she shows everyone that anything is possible and just because there is a boundary doesn't mean that you can't overcome something because anything is possible if you put time into it.

My local surf break is called Sandy's or Sandy Beach Park and it is a very popular place on the island of Hawaii. It is located on the east side of Honolulu and contains many bodyboarders and people that visit daily.

I haven't visited any other places throughout the country or any other states so I would consider Sandys as my favourite break in the country.

My favourite break in the world that I have visited so far would be Sandys because of the giant barrels and unlimited fun that it provides.

We use a small board so we can go under waves with ease and it is easier to maneuver and turn together with my Dad.

It is a t&c board that has a lot of creases from heavy barrels and giant shorebreak.

I have just got a new Science Hawaii body board and I am so excited, this is going to take me to the next level.

My crew contains me, my dad, 2 brothers, and my uncle. My youngest brother films and operates all accounts come check us out on insta @wynnsurfs.

Sometimes we will have people who support our page that we will see in the water which is cool to see others that recognize us.

I haven't competed in any contests yet but I think that it would be cool to have a tandem contest in Hawaii and we would most likely join it for fun.

I am only 9 years old so I am in 4th grade as a student.

Some sponsors that I would like to give a shout out to is infinity808x and charmingshark. I am so grateful to be a part of these two companies' teams and them supporting me. I wear roxy bikinis and my dad wears Infinity808x board shorts that we were lucky enough to be sent because they are the best shorts we have ever gotten!!

We usually don't ever use fins but when the waves get very large my Dad has to put his viper fins on. My whole family has been using Viper Fins for many years now and they are great! I use a t&c leash that has been through hundreds of waves.

One company that is locally based here in Hawaii is called "Stay Psyched" it is run by Jamie O'Brien and Tina Cohen who are both surfers.

It would eventually be cool to buy clothing and merchandise or even possibly be a part of their team.
